Ann Dai

From the village of Dindori in Madhya Pradesh, Gond artist Suresh Kumar illustrates the folklore of Ann Dai who is a Goddess of agriculture. The goddess of cereals provides grain for food and blesses the farmers of the village. She has four heads and two hands in which she carries crop seeds of nutrient-rich kodo, kutki, and rice which is cultivated in Dindori in Madhya Pradesh.
